Stephen McGinty BA

Stephen was born in 1966 and educated at Napier University and the University of Nottingham. His interest in whisky and wine led him to work in the retail sector of the industry, where his knowledge (and appreciation) of fine tipples blossomed. Stephen joined McTear`s in 2010 as Whisky and Wine Specialist, and heads up a busy department which holds spirited sales every five weeks. His interests include enjoying fine food and wine, hill walking, and – most of all – spending time with his wife and daughter.
