How do I Activate Live Auctions?

If you are already a registered user of the-saleroom.com all you need to do is click the Activate Live Auctions button by following the link to the-saleroom.com (on the logo below) and you will be taken to the Live Auctions page, where you will be asked to confirm your details and agree to the terms and conditions.

Do I need to sign-up for each Auction?

You do need to sign-up for each live auction, you will also be requested for credit card details to be provided as a condition for bidding in their auctions.

To sign-up for an auction simply click the Sign-up for this Auction button on the catalogue finder page. On auction day you can still sign-up by clicking the Bid Live button.

Experience a Live Auction

Still not quite convinced? Why not experience a live auction. On auction day a View Live button will appear alongside the Bid Live Button. You will be able to listen in live to the auction and watch the bidding on each item. Of course you won't be able to bid on any lots until you Activate Live Auctions.

Important Payment Notes

In completing the bidder registration on www.the-saleroom.com and providing your credit card details and unless alternative arrangements are agreed with McTear's, you:

1. authorise McTear's, if they so wish, to charge the credit card given in part or full payment, including all fees, for items successfully purchased in the sale via www.the-saleroom.com
2. confirm that you are authorised to provide these credit card details to McTear's through www.the-saleroom.com and agree that McTear's is entitled to ship the goods to the card holder name and cardholder address provided in fulfilment of the sale.
